The BBA  International Winter Camp in Croatia marked a thrilling chapter for BBA MVP and Elite players. From December 11 to 15, 2023, our young athletes ventured into the heart of Croatia for an unforgettable basketball experience. Accompanied by dedicated BBA coaches, these players not only sharpened their skills on the court but also immersed themselves in the rich culture and scenic beauty of Croatia.

Training and Friendly Matches:

Our players engaged in intensive training sessions with local basketball clubs. The collaboration included a friendly match with KK Flumen Sancti Viti in the historic city of Rijeka. The encounter showcased not only the skill of BBA players but also fostered cultural exchange and sportsmanship.

Another highlight was the friendly match with Cedevita Junior in the vibrant city of Zagreb. The players had the unique opportunity to face off against top-tier talent, gaining valuable experience and broadening their perspectives on the global basketball landscape.

Exploring Rijeka and Zagreb:

Beyond the basketball courts, the BBA team explored the charming cities of Rijeka and Zagreb. Rijeka, with its picturesque landscapes and historic architecture, provided the perfect backdrop for team bonding and cultural enrichment. 

In Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, the team delved into the city’s rich history and vibrant atmosphere. A visit to the Drazen Petrovic Memorial Museum paid homage to one of basketball’s legendary figures, leaving a lasting impression on the young athletes. The museum, dedicated to the late Drazen Petrovic, offered a glimpse into the life and legacy of a basketball icon.

The BBA International Winter Camp in Croatia was a testament to the global reach of basketball and the power of sports to unite people from different corners of the world. As these young athletes return to Dubai, they carry with them not only improved basketball skills but also memories of a winter adventure that transcended the boundaries of the court.
